German automobile giant Volkswagen AG operates 48 car manufacturing plants in 15 countries across Europe and six countries in Americas, Asia and Africa. Volkswagen uses high-quality rolled steel products (SBQ) that comply with the ISO 9001:2015 international quality management system standard. Every three years, OEMK successfully passes a recertification audit of compliance with this standard and is a certified supplier of SBQ to Volkswagen.


Chelyabinsk Pipe-Rolling Plant (ChelPipe Group) is among top-10 producers of welded and seamless steel tubes and pipes. In the second half of 2018, Ural Steel and OEMK will supply to ChelPipe ca. 14,000 and 12,000 tonnes of pipe billets, respectively. In the near future, the specialists of Metalloinvest and ChelPipe will work together to develop new innovative steel grades and improve the quality of steel products.


SKF is a manufacturing company founded in Sweden, a leading global supplier of bearings, seals, mechatronics, lubrication systems and other engineering solutions in this area. SKF has over 140 production facilities in 32 countries. OEMK is a certified supplier of SKF.


KAMAZ is a Russian producer of diesel heavy-duty trucks, busses, tractors and auto parts. OEMK supplies high-quality rolled steel to KAMAZ, which manufactures the most highly-loaded components and assemblies for its vehicles: engine shafts, gearboxes, wheel gears, steering parts, struts and shock absorber springs.

The Schaeffler Group

The Schaeffler Group is a manufacturer of rolling and plain bearing solutions for automotive and industrial uses. The company has more than 70 production facilities across the world, working with 1,250 suppliers. OEMK was the only Russian company to receive the Schaeffler Supplier Award from the company.

OMK Steel

OMK is one of the leading Russian manufacturers of products for top energy, transport and industrial companies. OMK produces steel, rolled products, pipes, pipeline valves and fittings, railway wheels and automotive springs. Ural Steel has been working together with OMK’s Vyksa Steel Works plant for more than 20 years. Since 2004, both companies have been working on developing new steel products. Under this initiative, Ural Steel developed and implemented technology to produce K60-grade steel flat products for the production of large diameter oil and gas pipes.
